Elizabeth Indigo started in the performing arts as a kid. After a long string of performances in tutus and experimental dance, she made her first set of poi in 2001 and was hooked. She began fusing fire with belly dance, flamenco, modern dance and burlesque.
Developing choreography and movement inspired by traditions from around the world, she has collaborated and performed in projects from Alaska to LA to Black Rock City.
After receiving degrees in psychology and French, she spent time studying theater and film, put in some years as a social worker, and has just finished her MA in literature. Most days she can be found at the long wood table in front of her windows with a book and a pen.
