.: Andrea :.Some say Andrea got her fire when she picked up poi for the very first time. Others say it comes from her Latina roots. Andrea is a 100% Colombian dancer who loves nothing more than to move her body about the flame. She has danced all her life, even competing on Costa Rica's hit show "Buba." Andrea performed in the final 20 from thousands of contestants who vied for five spots in an all girl band. As Costa Rica watched and voted for 3 months, Andrea earned fame in her adopted country. She would learn poi at La Escuela Del Sol in paradisaical Montezuma, Costa Rica and later begin to teach Spanish and fire dancing at that very same school. Today, she teaches tourists from around the world. Still, it's her performances which give Andrea new life. Her sensuality shines every time she burns: "The point in any single performance that I create is to move my hips and arms in synchronicity with my soul!"
